Mortal Sins, 5.9

The challenge: Create a representation of one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and incorporate its color.

My concept: I wanted to do a male character since Vanity is typically a female-depicted sin, and show it more as a corrupt ancient ruler. I worked the idea "Beauty is only skin deep", and decided that under the skin, prideful and vain people are grotesque; their actual anatomy is demonic.
This character is almost being exposed to what he is underneath as it bursts out from him. The skull is based on a lion's skull (proud animal) and has peacock skulls as cheekbones (another prideful animal). The Egyptian influenced garb would be gold and violet to implement the colors necessary.
