The challenge:
Create an insect queen via nude body paint.
Our concepts:
Since you can't show body paint too well through a sketch, we decided to go ahead and take this challenge head on...
NO EXPERIENCE
NO AIRBRUSH
NO PROBLEM
For our first time body painting, we are thrilled with how she turned out! We wanted to create a beautiful mantis queen that is deadly and fierce, ready to strike down any man who stands in her way of power. Sure there are a few things we could improve upon, but give us the proper tools, and we could do some AMAZING things! (Painting: 4 hours, Costuming: 1 hr)First goes to Nikki Yoder for her beautiful photography! Next to Ryan "The Holder" Buss, thank you for hosting us and feeding us some delicious vegan mac. Finally, we'd like to thank the beautiful Janna Ahrndt, our model. This was so much fun and thank you for sharing it with us.
As always, feedback is welcome! This was a the first time we have really DONE the challenge like the contestants did. We feel confident in our body painting abilities now and know that with proper tools, we could make something really cool!
Give us a shout out and a RT to share with your friends!
