The challenge:
Based on the architecture and location of a bridge, imagine the troll that might live underneath it.
Our concepts:
So since Anthony was the only one took on the challenge of doing the Helix Bridge in Singapore, I decided to tackle that one as well...it was very difficult to try and incorporate the shape of it and create a semi-modern troll. I wanted my character to be very much interested in body modification with facial tattoos and piercings to make himself more similar to this futuristic looking structure, including altering the shape of his spine. Seth chose the Monkey Forest Sanctuary from Bali and I think his troll rocks! His character is the guardian of the bridge and lives inside of the statues on the bridge. Whenever someone dares to cross, they emerge from the statue, still wearing bits of their stone shell.
As always, feedback is welcome! This was a unique challenge, but we are really looking forward to working on the "Queen Bees" challenge for next week.
