Extraterrestrial Enterprise, 9.6

Space...the final frontier.

First of all, I wanna give a HUGE THANKS to all of you: You guys have been Favoriting and Re-Tweeting more than ever!! That is so awesome! We would love for you to comment on things you like, how we could improve our designs, and if it would even work as a prosthetic makeup! Keep the conversation going; we love to feel like we can connect with you all on a more friendly level.

While I was never a huge Trekker (that is PC, right? haha), we were excited for this challenge. I have to admit, I am not always happy to do alien concepts, but they seem to be growing on me.

We wanted our concepts to truly be out of this world this week, specifically to impress Neville; we love that he frequently engages us on Twitter and having worked on the Star Trek franchise with some wicked Klingon redesigns, we hope you enjoy our modern aliens.

The challenge:
Updating a retro style alien, create a modern and realistic alien that could exist in a current Sci-Fi film.

Our concepts:
So we kinda had to fudge the challenge because we didn't create a retro alien first...we could've...but we didn't. Sorry.
We DID pick environments that inspired our designs, however. My alien's homeworld is a gaseous planet, and her body regulates the toxic and unhealthy pollutants from the air through the breathing vents along her head and onto her body.
Seth's alien is a galactic bounty hunter, hailing from a rocky and cold world. His stoic personality make him unrelenting in his quest to acquire the most valuable and highly-prized criminals in the galaxy.

Only 4 MORE DAYS until we are at Mask Fest! We would love to get a picture with you if you would allow it, and we really are excited to talk with you about your experience and what you are up to now! Can't wait to check out all of your cool projects on display :)

Expect to see us on Twitter @RyTy18 and @seth842.
Give us a shout out and a RT to share with your friends!
