Everyone did such an incredible job with their concepts, even those in bottom looks I thought really pushed the boundaries and tried to make standout characters! I mean the first team to reveal was so unique and each one was executed in a very cool way! Both Death characters were incredibly impressive!! Way to go guys!
Create the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in a horrific way: War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death
Our concepts: So I was a little inspired by Evan's inside out Death character and wanted to continue with that idea.
DEATH is the keeper of lost souls; when he takes a life from their physical body, their spirit remains inside of him, sometimes crying to come out. Death is old and his tangible body is worn so he enlisted three servants to help him bring about the end of days. These servants are some of the darkest souls that he captured: when he stripped away their life, the grotesque manifestations of their body systems were left behind.
FAMINE aka "Guts" is constantly looking for food. He gorges himself so that others may have none, thus creating the famine. However, he doesn't enjoy the taste or keep it in his body, it is immediately digested through the tubes in his arms. He has no functional eyes, hands, ears, or nose because his only purpose is to consume and excrete what others could want. Also his head is a nod to the scales of justice from the Revelation description, but I used stomach sacks instead (yummy)
PESTILENCE aka "Utero-Face" is DISGUSTING. In the way that a disease needs to reproduce in order to survive, so must she. Her facial structure is reminiscent of the female uterus (hence the nickname), but she is anything but matronly. Pustules and sores cover her exposed body, and her actual reproductive organs are simply diseased and rotten; the attempt at reproducing then does not create life, but in turn takes it away. The worst part is the trypophobia holes on her boobs, arms, and knees (gross).
WAR aka "Horns" is your typical meat-head: all brawn, no brain. His "shoot first" mentality is used to trigger violence in others. He relishes in sparking arguments, making blood boil and tensions run high. His muscles have swollen to encapsulate any other body organ so that he has the strength to engage in aggressive assaults. His human skull revealed his true nature when stripped of his lifeforce, as it is fit for a warrior entering battle: two horns and a helm of bone make him a fierce barbarian.
