Mother Earth, 5.5

The challenge: Create a mother nature goddess, inspired by qualities within your own mother.



My concept: My mom is always a ray of sunshine; she is so much fun and so joyous that I think of summertime and big daisies! I imagine Mother Nature to go through "seasons" in her life, and this is her "summer" stage. I imagine lots of bright tropical colors with bits of green, gray and blue running through the body. Her face would be mostly white with yellow faded in around the curves and up into a few of the petals. Her legs and arms however would deepen in green and have accents of yellow and red, with her dress petals being orange and yellow.
