Swan Song, 5.13 Finale

The challenge: Inspired by Swan Lake, create the princess as she is mid-transformation, and her sorcerer, as if they were in one of four time periods:
The Industrial Revolution, the Italian Renaissance, the Roaring Twenties, or the Ming Dynasty



My concept: Three of the eras were chosen by the contestants, so I chose the remaining: Roaring 20's. The swan is a flapper, put under the spell of jazz music and transformed because of it. The sorcerer is an art-deco inspired jazz musician. His gangster clothing gives him a menacing feel, and the music notes and lines tie both characters together.
