My concept: In the future, McDonald's and Coca-Cola decide to merge their company's to form "Global Utilities and Larder Program (G.U.L.P.), creating a monopoly on almost every food or food-related product on Earth. Having huge financial power and greedily wanting to utilize more of it, the corporation fired several human employees in favor of Food Service Robots. These workers operated as cooks, dishwashers, and servers, replacing almost all need for human employment. Some of these FSRs are more expensive and fancy, working for elite restaurants. However, this one works in the fast food industry. In an attempt to make people more comfortable with these mechanical workers, designers modeled it after 1950's kitchen-ware; but there is still something unnerving about that forced grin.
