Our top looks were the Clockmaker's Wife by Kelly and Stephanie, and the Face Demon by Julian and Ben. We were so sad to see Regina go home, she was one of our favorite artists! Best of luck, and hope to see you on an All-Star season!
The challenge:
Based on a sound, create a unique character that would make that noise.
Our concepts:
We didn't want to go with any of the sounds used on the show because we felt that they did such a great job of capturing those ideas. So we took to the internet, and found this:
So naturally, we had to create some sort of Daft Punk-esque robot dance machine.
Seth created a futuristic DJ at our robot night club, and I created a Go-Go Dancer for his stage.
As always, feedback is welcome! This was a tricky challenge for us since we didn't have the opportunity to create based on original sound effects, but we improvised.
Shout out to @UbiAssassin, they do something similar to what we do here, and the results are sweet! Check out the "Clicking" and "Ticking" inspired concepts:
