Dressed to Kill, 8.8

For us, this was perhaps one of the hardest challenges yet! While we both have seen Hellraiser (Seth more times than I have), we weren't super in tune with the Clive Barker style, and is something we had to think hard about.

    

Some of our favorite looks this week were Julians very creepy sucker demon, Kelly's demon LITERALLY TERRIFIED US, and Emily's raven warrior was sooooo cool even though it wasn't really the style. Wish the strings would have worked out, that would have been so sick!

The challenge: 
Inspired by avant garde fashion, create a Clive Barker character that is both sexy and horrific.

Our concepts: 
I wanted to draw from modern club/rave culture since Hellraiser's Cenobites were inspired by '80s S&M clubs. My character is a demon named "Lips". She has peeled back parts of her face to make larger lips. She uses her seductive nature to lure men in and then eats their soul through their kiss.
Seth's creature is something straight out of Midian! As a human, he had a fascination with cobras. After being exposed to the blood of Baphomet, he altered his appearance to be more snake-like. In the graveyard, he works as a night club owner and any unwelcome guests are met with his venomous attack.
